The high fashion shopping district is only a walk away, the same for the Campo di Fiori farmer's market where you can find fresh fruit and vegetables every day of the week (closed Sundays). The area is also characterized with bustling cafes and restaurants. If you wish to stay at home and enjoy a quiet dinner on the deck overlooking Rome, there is a supermarket just around the corner where you can find all sorts of fine Italian produce. They key attraction of this area is what people refer to as 'hidden Rome'. Walk out from the apartment and take the little side alleys that characterize this Medieval part of the city where you will discover hidden squares featuring buildings with stunning architecture. And after visiting the latter why not enjoy a stroll in the Villa Borghese park from where you can reach the Picio with its breathtaking views of Rome. From the apartment you can also cross the Tiber river and enter Trastevere with its bustling nightlife, here you will find the best restaurants such as Le Mani in Pasta in Via dei Genovesi and lots of bars and cafes. The best truffle ice creams are just downstairs in Piazza Navona at the Tre Scalini bar. The best brunch or proper English breakfast (waffles, pancakes, french toast) can only be found at Babington's on the Spanish Steps.
